The City of Lenexa has partnered with BikeWalkKC’s RideKC Bike program to offer electric-assist bikes — also known as e-bikes — for rent. Electric-assist bikes offer a boost up a hill or some extra speed for quick trips around town.

E-bikes are placed in storage for the winter during January and February.

How to rent an e-bike

To rent a e-bike, download the RideKC Bike app and follow the directions to scan and check out the bike.

Bikes cost $1 to unlock and 10 cents per minute.
