This month, the Lenexa Arts Council celebrates the third annual High School Student Art Show with an exhibit of local work in the Lenexa City Hall art gallery.

High school students who live in Johnson County were invited to apply for the juried art show featuring 2D and 3D art. An art teacher had to sponsor each entry. Nine artists submitted a total of 22 pieces. Awards were announced during a virtual ceremony on March 11, 2021. Winners and honorable mentions received cash prizes.

The High School Student Art Show is a program of the Lenexa Arts Council, which is committed to providing quality art programs for all ages in the community.
