It’s a new year, and we’ve got a new look.

Lenexa Parks & Recreation’s registration website — Lenexa.com/GetActive — has gotten an upgrade. The site functions in a very similar way. But now it’s more visually appealing, easier to find the programs you’re looking for, and convenient to use on mobile devices.

Have you have enrolled in recreation programs, signed up for events, reserved rental spaces or booked services in the past? If so, you’ve already got an account on file. You’ll use the same login details to access the updated Lenexa.com/GetActive website.

How do I know if I have a Lenexa.com/GetActive account? 

If you have completed a transaction with Lenexa Parks & Recreation — whether in person or online — then you have an account.

What is my account username? 

If you created the account yourself at Lenexa.com/GetActive, you set up a username that may or may not be an email address. If City of Lenexa staff created the account for you while handling a transaction, your default username is your email address. 

Still unsure whether you have an account? Here’s how to check before creating a duplicate account by mistake. 

In the menu at Lenexa.com/GetActive, click on “Sign In/Register” and then choose “Please click here if you have forgotten your username,” located below the green login button.

Then type in your email address and hit the submit button. If your email address is on file with us, we’ll send you an email that lists your username. 

What if I forgot my password?

In the menu at Lenexa.com/GetActive, click on “Sign In/Register” and then choose “Please click here if you have forgotten your password,” located below the green login button.

Then type in your email address and hit the submit button. If your email address is on file with us, we’ll send you a temporary password to log in to your account. Then you’ll be prompted to reset your password.

Why can’t I sign up for a program online?

If you are unable to select a program and add it to your cart at Lenexa.com/GetActive, enrollment is full or registration hasn’t opened yet.

On a desktop computer, hover your mouse over the shopping basket to the left of a program session, and a message will pop up explaining the reason you can’t sign up. On mobile devices, click on the shopping basket icon to see the same message.

Can I buy my outdoor pool pass membership online?

If you purchased an outdoor pool membership for 2020 or 2021, you can renew it online for the 2022 summer season.

If this is your first time buying a pool membership, you must do so in person. Visit either the Parks & Recreation Desk inside the Lenexa Rec Center or the Lenexa Community Center during normal business hours.

Can I buy my Lenexa Rec Center membership online?

At this time, you are not able to purchase or renew a Lenexa Rec Center membership online. Please visit the facility in person during business hours to complete your transaction.
