HeART of Lenexa Contest

Series of three paintings of Bike Lenexa

Create a work of art in any medium, inspired by something you love about Lenexa. This can be anything from your favorite park, school, trail, neighborhood business, location or even your own back yard. Submit your artwork with an explanation of your inspiration to the HeART of Lenexa Contest, and you could win!

This is a program of the Lenexa Arts Council.

Entry categories

We will accept artwork in the following categories:

  • 2D and 3D art: drawing, photography, painting, multimedia, digital design, sculpture, carving, pottery, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metal, fiber, etc.

  • Creative writing: poetry, lyrics, scripts or short stories. Must be no longer than 500 words.
