Security Measure

CPR, AED & First Aid Training

We provide American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) training in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and first aid. All instructors are licensed by ASHI. Classes are a blend of online learning and skill validations with an instructor at our training facility at Fire Station #3, 24000 Prairie Star Parkway.

CPR, AED and Basic First Aid Blended Course - All Ages

This 4 to 5-hour class is the for the general public and is a blend of online virtual training and hands-on skill validation with one of our instructors. This first aid, AED, and CPR certification course option is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, and the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.

Upon successful completion of the both the online and hands-on portion of the class, students will be issued a digital certification card valid for 2 years at the time of issue.


Basic Life Support (BLS) Blended Course

This 4 to 5-hour class is for the general public and is a blend of online virtual training and hands-on skill validation with one of our instructors. Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.

Upon successful completion of the both the online and hands-on portion of the class, students will be issued a digital certification card valid for 2 years at the time of issue.


Hands-Only CPR

This is a no-cost training held in various locations throughout the City.

Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by people who see a teen or adult suddenly collapse in an out-of-hospital setting (such as at home, at work, or in a park).
