Do you offer SilverSneakers or other health-insurance-related program?

The Lenexa Rec Center is pleased to offer multiple specialty membership programs with a qualifying health plan.

More information

What is considered a household?

A household is defined as up to five people, all residing within the same residence, one of which must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals over age 18 must prove they reside in the household.

The easiest way to do this is to provide a driver’s license with your address or some form of verified mail (not junk mail) received at your home

Can I get a pass to a specific area of the facility?

No, we do not sell passes to specific areas of the facility. Our memberships and single-day passes give you access to the entire building, given that age requirements are met.

How do I cancel my membership?

Cancellation of monthly membership requires a 30-day notice. You can do this in person at the Rec Center welcome desk or fill out a change/cancellation form and email it to therec@lenexa.com. Membership will be terminated following this 30-day notice period on the 19th of the month.

For example, if notice was given on Feb. 1, the membership will terminate on March 19. Members may be responsible for one final billing before auto-draft payments are stopped.

Annual memberships are nonrefundable.

What happens if I lose my membership card?

You can purchase a new membership card from the front desk for $5.

Why do I have to pay a membership fee when I pay taxes?

A portion of sales tax dollars went toward constructing the facility. The Lenexa Rec Center will cover operational costs through user-driven revenues. This includes memberships, programs, rentals and other services offered.
