
Have a passion for swimming or love being by the poolside? We’re looking for indoor lifeguards who can work year-round to staff our state-of-the-art
Lenexa Rec Center pool. The 14,000 square-foot pool has a zero-depth entry, two 40-foot-tall slides, a lazy river, a deep water well with a three-meter platform and 20-foot climbing wall, three lanes for lap swimming and recreation, a warm water wellness pool and an interactive water play structure.
Lifeguards are responsible for supervising pool patrons, monitoring the pool area by offering assistance and protecting the patrons. They provide fun swimming environment and enforce safety rules.
We’re looking for both
Lifeguard – Indoor (Mornings & Afternoon) – Part-Time and
Lifeguard - Indoor (Evenings & Weekends).

Lifeguard – Indoor (Mornings & Afternoon) – Part-Time
Hours:
20 to 28 hours per week
Must be available to work daytime and afternoon shifts from 7 a.m.–noon and/or noon–3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 15 years of age.
Possess good customer service skills and emergency response.
Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training with the Waterpark module, CPR, and First Aid/AED certifications required, or ability to obtain prior to employment date.
(The City of Lenexa offers the Lifeguard Training classes to candidates.)
Compensation:
$9.25 to $10.75 per hour

Hours:
We offer a flexible work schedule, but must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 15 years of age.
