**IDENTIFIED** Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property
We are attempting to identify this individual on a theft investigation. On Feb. 19, 2019, the victim in this case accidentally left her checkbook on the counter at a Lenexa retailer. The next customer in line, pictured here, was seen retrieving the checkbook from the store counter and putting it into her own purse. Burglary, theft and criminal damage
We are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect related to a burglary, theft, criminal damage and check fraud investigation. On April 9, 2018, at approximately 11:00 A.M., our officers responded to the U.S. Post Office located in the 8800 block of Monrovia. The victim reported that her vehicle had been broken into (smashed window), and her purse stolen. Further investigation by detectives revealed that the suspect had attempted to cash a check in the victims name while also using the victims ID.
