Construction impacts at Old Town Activity Center the week of April 28

Visitors to the Lenexa Old Town Activity Center should prepare for temporary disruptions during the week of April 28, 2025, as construction and improvement projects take place. The parking lot and gym will be closed for resurfacing and repainting, respectively.

On-site parking will be limited to 25 spaces. Visitors will need to use street parking on Haskins and Oak streets. 

Despite construction, activities in the Haskins, Oak and Walnut rooms will continue as scheduled. However, some gym-based programs will be relocated, while others will be canceled.

Cancelled gym programs April 28–May 2:

  • Gym For Me 
  • Pickleball 
  • Senior men’s basketball
  • Open gym 8th grade and under
  • Open gym 9th grade and up 
  • Adult open gym 

Modified program locations:

The following activities and programs that typically meet in the gym will continue but be relocated:

  • Senior Pep Fitness
  • Chair Yoga
  • Pingpong
  • Happy Feet Soccer
  • Learn to Play Soccer
  • Improver Line Dance
  • Beginner Line Dance

Please check in at the welcome desk at the Old Town Activity Center to see where a drop-in activity will take place. If you are registered for a program, details will be emailed to you.
