Timeline

June 25, 2024: Lenexa Governing Body will hold a budget overview during the Committee of the Whole meeting at 7 p.m.

July 9, 2024: Lenexa Governing Body will review individual department budgets during the Committee of the Whole meeting at 7 p.m.

Early August: Johnson County mails estimated tax notices to property owners.

Aug. 15, 2024: Attend a Budget Open House at Lenexa City Hall between 5–7 p.m. to learn about the budget and get expert answers to your questions.

Aug. 20, 2024: Give feedback during two public hearings at the Lenexa City Council meeting at 7 p.m. One hearing is on the City's intent to exceed the revenue neutral rate. The other is on the 2025 Recommended Budget.
