Community Forum at Lenexa City Hall

The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations on planning and zoning issues in Lenexa. It also makes recommendations about rezoning, special-use permits and preliminary plan applications, which are then considered by the Lenexa City Council. The Planning Commission appproves final plans, with or without conditions.

  • The Planning Commission typically meets on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Lenexa City Hall.
  • Agendas are generally available the Thursday before each meeting. Minutes of previous meetings are available after they are approved at the following meeting.
  • Meetings are open to the public.
  • If you require special accommodations, please call the City ADA coordinator at 913.477.7550 (Kansas Relay Service 1.800.766.3777) at least 48 hours before the meeting.
