Join us for a day of free family fun. Visit Lenexa Fire Station No. 3 to interact with Lenexa firefighters and learn what equipment they use to fight fires and how they keep our community safe.

All-day activities (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Time TBD — Live side-by-side fire sprinkler burn trailer. Come watch how quickly a small fire can spread and see the difference that a home sprinkler system can make.
Time TBD — Vehicle extrication demonstration. Major car crashes sometimes leave passengers trapped inside the vehicle until the fire department can get them out. Watch as firefighters cut open a staged wrecked car as if someone was trapped inside.
