Black Hoof Open Disc Golf Tournament

Whether you call yourself a disc golf player or just getting familiar with the game, the Black Hoof Open is your ticket to a fantastic day of camaraderie, fresh air, and thrilling throws on one of the best courses in the state. Three options:

9 Hole Family & Friends Doubles
A shorter, family-friendly 9-hole game—ideal for all skill levels.

9 Hole Standard Doubles
For those interested in trying tournament play but not ready to commit to the full course.

18 Hole Standard Doubles
Perfect for recreational and amateur players ready to take on a full, 18-hole challenge.

Players will launch their rounds simultaneously from different points on the course. Event is unsanctioned. Sign up for a casual, community-focused competition. All registration fees benefit the Lenexa Parks & Recreation scholarship fund. Top finisher in each category will receive a trophy. There will be opportunities for side games and hole prizes.

Friends and Family Doubles

Players meeting at 9:30 a.m.
Shotgun start tee off at 10 a.m.
Two divisions: Age 14–17; Adult (18+) with Youth (17 and under)
Trophy-only event. Unsanctioned tournament.

Standard Doubles

Players meeting at 11:30 a.m.
Shotgun start tee off at noon.
Level: Recreational
Trophy-only event. Unsanctioned tournament.

18-Hole Tournament

Players meeting at 10:45 a.m.
Shotgun start tee off at 11:30 a.m.
Level: Recreational and Amateur
Trophy-only event. Unsanctioned tournament.
