April 1–27, 2025
Join us for a reception on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lenexa City Hall Art Gallery.
Nearly 20 talented and hobby photographers give more than 200 hours a year to help capture life in Lenexa. The April art gallery is dedicated to their work and to showcasing some of the images that never make our regular publications. Most images are scenic in nature. After the show, the art will then be on display in City facilities.
Daniel Baxley will also exhibit fused glass, mosaics and sculptures in his show titled, "Abstract Fused Glass Portraits of Legendary Artist." A retired firefighter in Kansas City, Kansas, Daniel is now a full time artist inspired by the natural world. His primary medium is fused glass but he likes to combine mediums in different forms.
