Art scholarships for graduating high school seniors
Graduating high school seniors who are Lenexa residents and plan to attend college this fall can apply for visual and performing art scholarships through the Lenexa Arts Council. They do not have to pursue an art degree. Applications are due March 2. Learn more or apply

Apply for open positions on city boards   
The city is seeking volunteers to serve on the Parks and Recreation Board, Planning Commission and Arts Council. Positions are filled by the appointment of the mayor with the consent of the City Council. To be considered for the vacant position, submit an application and résumé by March 13.

The Lenexa Police Department is planning a Coffee with a Cop event on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Perkins Restaurant (11200 W. 87th St. Pkwy.).
