Stacy Knipp appointed to Lenexa City Council to serve Ward 2
During the April 21 Lenexa City Council meeting, Stacy Knipp was appointed to fill the vacant Ward 2 City Council position. The position became vacant when Diane Linver, who served as a Ward 2 council member, stepped down from her position on Dec. 31, 2016, after serving for 28 years. Under Lenexa City Code, the mayor nominates a candidate to fill the unexpired term of a vacant seat. Knipp’s seat is one of four which will be voted on during the November election.   READ MORE...
