Lenexa has six fire stations serving six fire districts in the city.  

Lenexa Fire Station #1 

9620 Pflumm Road, Lenexa, KS 66215 

Fire Station #1 was constructed in 1986 and is home to an Engine Company, a Fire Medic Squad Company, and the Shift Battalion Chief. Station #1 is also home to the department’s Administrative Division. The primary response district served is a combination of residential, hotels, light industrial and retail sales facilities. 

Lenexa Fire Station #2 

8725 Lackman Road, Lenexa, KS 66215 

Fire Station #2 was constructed in 1974 and is home to an Quint Company. Cross-staffed apparatus include an all-terrain utility vehicle specifically designed for medical rescue from trail and park system areas not accessible to other apparatus. The primary response district served is a combination of residential, apartment complexes and retail sales facilities. 

Lenexa Fire Station #3 

24000 Prairie Star Parkway, Lenexa, KS 66227 

Fire Station #3 opened in 2005 and is home to an Engine Company. Cross-staffed apparatus includes a brush truck and a water rescue boat. Station #3 is also home to the department’s Training Division staff and state-of-the-art educational facility. The primary response district served currently consists largely of residential homes. This area is in its initial growth phase and is expected to eventually include significant retail sales facilities. 

Lenexa Fire Station #4 

10855 Eicher Drive, Lenexa, KS 66219 

Fire Station #4 was constructed in 1990 and is home to a Ladder Company. Cross-staffed apparatus includes a 95-foot aerial platform and a mobile ventilation unit. The primary response district consists largely of commercial and light industrial facilities. 

Lenexa Fire Station #5 

19151 Prairie Star Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66220 

Fire Station #5 was opened in 2010 and is home to a Quint Company. This building was designed and constructed with significant input from stakeholders and was the first LEED-certified building in the city. Cross-staffed apparatus includes a brush truck and an all-terrain utility vehicle specifically designed for medical rescue from trail and park system areas not accessible to other apparatus. The primary response district consists largely of residential homes and retail sales facilities.

Lenexa Fire Station #6 

12350 W. 87th Street Parkway, Lenexa, KS 66215

Fire Station #6 was opened in 2021 and is home to an Engine Company. The primary response district served is a combination of residential, apartment complexes and retail sales facilities.
