When your pet goes missing, Lenexa Animal Control wants to make sure we are doing our best to help reunite you with your furry friend. Animal Control has always kept track of lost and found pets, but now we are able to make that information available to you 24 hours a day. That’s why we have created the Lenexa Animal Lost and Found page.
With the Lost and Found page, you’ll be able to report lost or found animals in Lenexa any time. Simply log on to the site, and you can:
View reports of lost, found and impounded animals
See a map of where animals were reported lost or found
Make a report if you lost your pet or found another animal.
Make an online report. Enter the location your pet was last seen, a description of your animal and your contact information. This allows our Animal Control officers or someone who may have found your pet to reunite you with your animal.
Browse the listings on the Lost and Found page to see if a report matches the description of the animal you’ve found. There is also a link to Petdata, where you can trace Lenexa pet licenses, if the animal is wearing a city tag. You can find basic contact information on lost reports or through PetData so that you can then contact the owner of the animal.
Although our Animal Control officers will monitor the page as time allows. You should also check Great Plains SPCA’s Lost Pet Registry. Please call Lenexa Animal Control at 913.477.7385 if you need further assistance.
